LENTEN SMALL GROUP FAITH SHARING PROGRAM
Are you looking to do something different this Lent? Consider hosting or participating in a small faith sharing group. Ask your friends and form a small group, it's as easy as that. Groups will meet once a week for 6 weeks, beginning the week of February 14 and ending the week before Palm Sunday. Each weekly session is about 90 minutes long.
This season we will continue using The Disciples in Mission Lenten program, the last of the 3 year series. Each week participants will read the Scripture Readings for the upcoming Sunday. A discussion of the readings is based on faith sharing questions followed by ways to live the scripture readings for that week. The book is $5.00 and can be picked up at the rectory.
Please contact Wendy Joyce at 221-2408 or wsjoyce@optonline.net if you are interested in the program.
RECOMMENDED SPIRITUAL READING FOR LENT
This year as in the past we at St. Denis are provided many means to enrich
our spiritual lives during the season of Lent. The Small Faith Sharing Groups
will finish the series "Disciples in Mission", with year three; and for anyone who
would like a daily reflection based on the readings for the day, "The Word Among Us" will
again be available at the entrances to the Church, as well as the a reflection
booklet "Living with Passion" by Rev. Joseph F. Sica both for a nominal cost of $1.00.
For those who would like additional reading material or something "different" this year
we have searched and would recommend any of the following publications.

material; it is in limiting our choice to one or two.
